For example, 'To Hell And Back' is also the title of his film about him, where he is starring himself (he also was an actor), large parts of the lyrics are from his poem 'The Crosses Grow On Anzio', 'a man of the 15th, a man of can do' references to his time in the 15th infantry regiment et cetera. He received 27 awards in total, the latest in 2013.
