Zadaa! Olipa mukava lukea, että ihmiset tai ainakin te tykkäsitte, kiitos! Frontiersia olemme itse asiassa lähestyneetkin aiheesta. Se olisi mahtava lafka monellakin tasolla tämmöiselle kamalle. Toivottavasti kävisi hirvee munkki ja herra Perugino innostuisi aiheesta. Kokopitkä levy tulee joka tapauksessa 2013 tavalla tai toisella ja se mixataan nyt keväällä loppuun. Mielestäni levyn muu materiaali on jopa vahvempaa. Mukana mm. enemmän sellaista Whitesnake tyylistä rouheampaa osastoa. Olisi mukava homma jos joku oikea levy-yhtiö tästä nyt tosiaan kiinnostuisi. On vain totuus, että nykyään vaikeata saada jalkaa oven väliin bändillä jota ei tiedä vielä kukaan ja debyytti levy vasta käsissä. Laadusta ei silti tulla tinkimään tuli taloudellista tukea diilin muodossa tai ei ja levy miksataan Sonic Pumpilla loppuun jokatapauksesssa sekä luonnollisesti masteroidaan asiallisesti jne. Onneksi on erittäin jes lätty sentään, joten sen suhteen voin ainakin olla tyytyväinen ja toisekseen harrastukset maksaa. Pitää sitten mennä vaikka johonki varastoon duuniin keräämään budjettia, joka voisi tosin olla ihan asiallinen idea muutenki tässä kohtaa "muusikon" uraa:) . Ekat keikat olisi myös tarkoitus soitella tässä vuoden ekalla puoliskolla, alustavaa puhetta muutamasta alan bändin lämppäri paikasta onkin jo ollut, toivottavast natsaisi.

Tuolta meidän fb sivulta on mahdollista seurata kuvioita ja noita sinkkui tulee lisää vielä jakoon. Sivuilta voi kätsästi seurata mistä ja miten on mahdollista saada tätä tulevaa keräily harvinaisuutta;) On painossa parhaillaan tuo promosinkku lafkoja ja radioita sekä muuta mediaa varten. Niitä jää läskisti kuitenki yli joita jaetaan siis ilmaiseksi, kun ei noitakaa lafka jne mestoja määräänsä enempää kuitenkaa ole. Tämä fb ajaa tällä hetkellä myös nettisivujen virkaa, ennen kuin jostain sellaiset keksitään kasaan.

CINDERELLA Frontman To Embark On First-Ever Solo Tour - Jan. 2, 2013

CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer will embark on his first-ever solo tour in February. The 14-city trek will see Tom playing small, intimate rooms and offering an up-close-and-personal preview of songs from his solo debut, "The Way Life Goes", along with some CINDERELLA classics. The tour will kick off on February 9 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and will include a February 11 New York City date.

Keifer has inked a deal with Jack Ponti's Merovee Records, a joint venture with David Letterman's Worldwide Pants, for the release of "The Way Life Goes". Due in early 2013, the CD will feature 14 tracks that are described by Ponti as “intimate, organic, acoustic tracks to driving hard rock. It embraces the blues, rock and country roots." The lyrics will take an introspective look at the roller coaster ride that has been Keifer's life for the past 15 years. From being told that he would never sing again as a result of a partially paralyzed left vocal cord, to the emotional and personal battles that followed, his solo debut is a story of perseverance, a testament to the power of passion and will, when combined with a true love of music.

In a 2011 interview with Sweden's Metalshrine, Keifer was asked whether his solo album was going to be a whole lot different from CINDERELLA. Tom replied, "No, not really, because being the lead singer and the main songwriter and I did a lot of the guitar work in CINDERELLA, it's kind of hard to run from my sound. I had a lot of influence over those records so… I'm just doing what I do and that's hard rock inspired by blues and roots music. What I did in CINDERELLA is what I love to do and what I'm doing on my own is what I love to do. I try to be true to what I like. It's similar in that way, you know. Dynamically the records, the CINDERELLA records, and especially as they went on into 'Long Cold Winter' and 'Heartbreak Station', they had a lot of different flavors and colors and dynamics and different types of songs, which I always like because the bands that I grew up on, like, [LED] ZEPPELIN and THE [ROLLING] STONES, they really covered a lot of area musically. My solo record does that, too, and I think it makes for a more interesting record when it's not just the same song for 14 tracks."

Voihan perse! Tässä on vesi kielellä odottanu Treatilta uutta levyä. Edellinen Coup de Grace oli kuitenkin sen verran upea teos. Yksi vuosituhannen kovimmista hard rock -levyistä, jollei se kovin.

No, viimeinkin tipahti uutisia bändiltä. Tosin aika paskat uutiset, sanoisin. Uutta levyä pukkaa, mutta se on kokoelma (no, pari uuttaa veisua sentään). Sen jälkeen luvassa kiertuetta ja sitten pillit pussiin.

Liput tosiaan ostettu ja hotla varattu Firefestiin... Kova kattaus siellä näin juhlavuoden kunniaksi ja hienona bonarina on vielä nähdä, kun "oman kylän" jannut avaavat festarin. Tosin oli kyllä viime vuonnakin hyvät meiningit Nottinghamissa.

Oulussa Treat oli kieltämättä pirun kova, tosin oli myös mielestäni TNT:kin. Vaikkakin olisin hiukan parempaa meininkiä Tony Millsiltä lavalla odottanut TNT:n kanssa. Sääli, että Treat laittelee pillit pussiin, mutta ovatpahan monta kovaa levyä tällä saralla jälkeensä jättäneet.

Treatilla oli tosiaan loistava keikka täällä Teatrialla, vähän kuin hieman myöhemmin Pretty Maidsilla. Kuka olisi uskonut sellaiseen hurmokseen? En mie ainakaan.

Onkohan kokoelman 2 täkybiisiä samaa laatua, kuin 2004 comebackin yhteydessä julkaistun Weapons Of Choicen Go! & I Burn For You.. jälkimmäinen on uran top-kympissä kyllä, ihan älytön biisi!

Selitinköhän mie joskus aiemminkin, miten Anders Wikström hengasi HEAT:ia katsellen Sweden Rock risteilyllä viime keväänä Mats Levénin kanssa, jonka käkkäräpehkosta tunnistinkin ja menin hirveässä jurrissa jotakin sönköttämään. Sitten kun tämän kaverin henkilöllisyys selvisi, niin eihän tällaisen (toinen ultimaalinen tsekkausbiisi: Roar) kohdalla ole nuoleskelua sanoa you, sir are an amazing songwriter!

Kehuin Oulun keikkaa & kysäisin mm. miten tällaisen melodiantajun omaava tienasi elantonsa 1990-luvun loppupuolella: poppia kirjoittamalla, bändiä kun kysyin esimerkiksi, niin A* Teens! cool, pretty girls...

Pretty Maids on studiossa äänittämässä uutta levyä. Saapi nähdä, tuleeko yhtä kova rykäisy kuin Pandemonium oli.

Kunhan vielä tietäisin mihin hemmetin läpeen olen tunkenut oman Pandemoniumin kappaleeni niin paistaisi aurinko meikällekin. Löytyi kirpparilta parilla eurolla ja moneen kertaan olen kuunnellut levyn läpi, mutta silti levyhyllyssä on pelkkää tyhjää juuri tuon kohdalla.

Rumpali Tschicajakin heiluu enemmän kuin Beatles-shown intilalaistaustainen "Ringo" Vegasissa ..mutta Ronnie Atkins omaa kyllä aina tyyliä, ääni on pysynyt hiton hyvänä ukolla. PRETTY MAIDS To Release 'Motherland' In March - Jan. 15, 2013

Frontiers Records will release "Motherland", the new album from veteran Danish hard rockers PRETTY MAIDS, on March 22 in Europe and March 26 in North America.

After their successful and highly acclaimed 2010 album "Pandemonium", PRETTY MAIDS celebrated their 30th anniversary with their debut visual release, "It Comes Alive (Maid in Switzerland)", in 2012. "Pandemonium" showed the world that PRETTY MAIDS were in a creative spring again, with the band in their finest moment. The melodic approach brought a return to the "Future World" / "Red Hot And Heavy" era of the Eighties, but with an updated sound and freshness that consolidated PRETTY MAIDS as strong as ever.

In late spring 2012, the band gathered to finally write the follow-up album. Singer Ronnie Atkins states: "We knew it was going to be a tough one to follow. I remember back in the day when we had to follow-up albums like 'Future World', we tried more or less to copy the songs from the previous album to keep the same kind of balance. But this time we just wrote what came natural to us and that's what became 'Motherland'."

The band teamed up again with producer Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, AMARANTHE) for the new CD. Ronnie says: "Jacob was a natural choice since we had a great experience with him producing the 'Pandemonium' album. The recordings went smooth to begin with, but then we had to start touring again during the weekends and this created some stress. Though I really feel strongly about 'Motherland'. In my view, it has all the ingredients of a good PRETTY MAIDS album, maybe even more melodic than 'Pandemonium' and absolutely, as far as I'm concerned a worthy follow-up."
