Tässä on kuvat noista. Tosiaan Bark At The Moonin laatu viittaa siihen, että olisi tyyliin VHS:ltä siirretty DVD:lle.

Jeb: I have read where Zakk has said in interviews that he remembers Mike Inez starting that song off in the studio. Now you are telling me that you played it on the record. How can that be?

Bob: Mike was Ozzy's bass player at the time. I got a call from Ozzy and he said he was having problems getting the songs recorded and he asked me to come down and give it a try. I played on the whole album. The songs, including No More Tears, were already written when I got called in. Mike Inez used to come and watch me play in the studio. I found him to be a very friendly guy. I think what Zakk was talking about was playing the song in the studio with Mike Inez. To give credit where credit is due, Mike had the idea of starting the song with the bass and he had an intro that he had written. I changed it around a bit when I came in. On the credits of the album that is why I am credited as the bass player. Mike is credited as having bass inspiration.
Joo, muisti teki tepposet tässä. Kirjassa asia on samalla tavalla, vaikka eri sanoin toki.

Kirja kyllä herätti mielenkiinnon bänsiin, sillä siihenhän Daisley suurimman osan tarmostaan viimeisinä vuosina on kanavoinut.

Sain kirjan eilen. Hyvältä näyttää, suorastaan erinomaiselta. Toisin kuin liki kaikissa muissa, tässä kuvat on taitettu tekstin joukkoon, mikä helpottaa tarinan kulun visuaalista hahmottamista. Useinhan kuvat on niputettu suurin piirtein teokset puoliväliin, josta ne katsoo kerran läpi vailla sen suurempaa yhteyttä luettuun tekstiin. Dio & Wendy hääkakkua leikkaamassa, Ozzy kusella, Cozy ja Ferrari Dino. Uskomattomia kuvia. Priceless.

Kaverille joen toisella puolen.

Ozzy Osbournen viimeisin soolokiertue on alkanut.

Black Sabbathin (mahdollisesti) viimeinen keikka tapahtui yhtyeen kotikaupungissa Birminghamissa helmikuun alussa.

Raskaamman musiikin ”kummisetä”, Sabbath-solisti Ozzy Osbourne ei kuitenkaan tunnu harkitsevankaan lopettamista.

Osbourne pestasi kitaristikseen vanhan sotaratsun Zakk Wylden ja Ozzyn soolobändi – myös basisti Blasko, rumpali Tommy Clufetos ja kosketinsoittaja Adam Wakeman – soitti ensimmäisen keikkansa Wisconsinin Rock USA -festivaalilla perjantaina 15. heinäkuuta.

Ihan mainio settilista piti sisällään seuraavaa:

Bark At The Moon
Mr. Crowley
Desire

I Don’t Know
Fairies Wear Boots
Suicide Solution
No More Tears
Believer

War Pigs
Iron Man
Shot In The Dark
I Don’t Wanna Change The World

Crazy Train
Mama, I’m Coming Home
Paranoid

Watch OZZY OSBOURNE Perform 'Bark At The Moon' During Solar Eclipse

August 22, 2017

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/watch- ... r-eclipse/

Ozzy Osbourne performed Monday afternoon during a solar eclipse at a festival in Illinois.

The BLACK SABBATH singer headlined Carterville's Moonstock festival, and he played his classic song "Bark At The Moon" at the height of the eclipse at 1:20 p.m. local time.

According to The Southern Illinoisan, Ozzy walked on stage at Walker's Bluff as the first diamond ring of the eclipse appeared, and began to sing the song as the shadow of the moon swept across the crowd.

Olisi edes sen kerran vaihtanut tämän vuoksi tuota järkyttävän kulunutta eikä alkujaankaan erityisen hääviä Barkatthemoonia; Sabbathin Under The Sun vaikka?

Olisiko kaverini lainannut Arskalta bootlegin Black Sabbath - Live in Paris 1970. Joka tapauksesa Sabbath kajahteli nuokkarin ämyreistä.

Hevistä diggaava nuoriso oli tuolloin kallellaan speed metalliin*. Black Sabbath sai silti hyväksyviä nyökkäyksiä, sillä Ozzy oli jo tuolloin... no.... Ozzy. Tunnistettava oma itsensä.
Teini A: Mikäs bändi tää on?
Teini B: Tää on joku Ozzyn aiempi levy, oisko ennen Bark at the Moonia?

* Speed metal = Metallica, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, Annihilator jne.

Meinaatko että tulevat Seinäjoelle? Okei, haen takkini...

OZZY OSBOURNE Postpones European Tour Again; North American Dates Still On For Spring/Summer 2020

October 9, 2019

https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/ozzy- ... mmer-2020/

Ozzy Osbourne has once again postponed his European tour.

In early April, Ozzy scrapped all his 2019 tour dates, both in North America and Europe, as he recovered from an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia. The singer fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating years-old injuries from his 2003 ATV accident that required new surgery. The European leg of his "No More Tours 2" trek was then rescheduled for January-March 2020, with the North American dates set to follow in May 2020.

Earlier today, Ozzy's social media was update with a video message from the BLACK SABBATH legend in which he announced the postponement of the 2020 European tour and addressed his health status.

He said: "I'm here to give you an update on my condition. As you probably know, or you may not know, at the beginning of this year, I had a bad fall. I screwed all the vertebrae in my neck and had to have surgery. I've got a lot more nuts and bolts in my neck now than in my car. I'm not dying, I am recovering — it's just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would. I'm bored stiff of being stuck on a fucking bed all day. I can't wait to get off my ass and get going again. But you're just gonna have to be a little bit more patient. I'm postponing the European tour because I'm not ready. I'm not retiring — I've still got gigs to do — but when I do come back on an American tour, I wanna be one hundred percent ready to come out and knock your fucking socks off. And also, there's a new album on the way."

He added: "Thank you to my band and my crew and Live Nation, and most of all, JUDAS PRIEST.

"I just wanna say one thing to the fans: I sincerely thank you for your patience and your loyalty. I love you. Now, will you fuck off and let me get better."

According to Live Nation Sweden, the new European tour dates will now take place "in the first half of 2021." :wall:

Ozzy Osbourne - 2021...

Post by Sabbathman »

^ Ozzy on 72 v. silloin 2021...
2021.

Ozzy Osbourne - 2021...

Post by Sabbathman »

https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/judas ... -copy-him/

Asked how the guitar playing in PRIEST would be split if Downing was to return for the band's 50th-anniversary tour, Faulkner said: "I guess if he was in it, I don't think Ken would be playing my bits. I honestly couldn't tell you. I wouldn't know… I guess if Ken was there, he'd play his parts and I'd play my parts and then Glenn's parts, which is fine for me… But it's one of those things, man… I wish, personally, it had been a different outcome and everyone was getting on fine and Ken could come back and everyone was friends and we could do it for
the last tour, the 50th anniversary,
go out with a bang and Glenn can come back when [he is able to]. But that's not the way it worked out, unfortunately. But who knows? What will be will be. Again, that's out of my hands. As I said, it's not my relationship to have."
Viimeinen kiertue...?
